Buttonholes add the final touch to your bridal party’s attire. At Cottage
Flowers we ensure that they coordinate with the brides bouquet and the flowers
being carried by the bridesmaids. Often the Grooms buttonhole will be trimmed
to match the Bride and may be slightly more elaborate.
It is also common for the Father of the Bride and Father of the Groom to have
buttonholes. These can be the same as the bridal party but traditionally a white
rose is worn.
Corsages
For special family members such as Grandmothers and Mothers it is appropriate
for them to wear a corsage. Every corsage is individually designed to reflect
the outfit it is to be worn on. Miniature roses and orchids are popular. The
finest of trims complete each corsage.
A spray of flowers attached to a handbag or hat is what some wedding attendants
choose as an alternative to a corsage. These are fully wired in the same way
that a corsage is created and can be trimmed with beautiful ribbon, metallic
wire or beads.
